लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल योगेंद्र डिमरी, जीओसी-इन-सी, सेंट्रल कमांड द्वारा सम्मानित की गईं बहादुर बेटी प्रीति नेगी

देहरादून, 15 जनवरी  ( उहि )।  लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल योगेंद्र डिमरी, एवीएसएम, वीएसएम, जीओसी-इन-सी, सेंट्रल कमांड ने सुश्री प्रीति नेगी को सेना दिवस पर बधाई देते हुए सभी इच्छुक लड़कियों के लिए एक रोल मॉडल होने के लिए उनकी सराहना की और पर्वतारोहण के उपकरण, कपड़े और उसके पराक्रम की पहचान के लिए प्रोत्साहन राशि प्रदान की।

सुश्री प्रीति नेगी ने 18 दिसंबर 2022 को इतिहास रचा, जब उन्होंने सभी बाधाओं को पार किया और कठिन इलाकों और मौसम का सामना करते हुए केवल तीन दिनों में अफ्रीका की सबसे ऊंची चोटी किलिमंजारो के शीर्ष पर साइकिल चलाकर विश्व रिकॉर्ड स्थापित किया। 2002 में पुंछ/राजौरी में आतंकवादियों से लड़ते हुए सर्वोच्च बलिदान देने वाले हवलदार राजपाल नेगी की बेटी, सुश्री प्रीति ने असाधारण धैर्य, दृढ़ संकल्प और साहस दिखाया है और उनके नाम एक राष्ट्रीय रिकॉर्ड है।

Ms. Preeti Negi created history on 18 December 2022, when she surmounted all odds and braved difficult terrain and weather to establish a World Record by cycling to the top of Kilimanjaro, Africa’s Highest Peak, in only three days, a World Record. Daughter of Havildar Rajpal Negi, who made the supreme sacrifice whilst fighting terrorists in Poonch/Rajouri in 2002, Ms. Preeti has shown exceptional grit, determination, and courage and holds a National Record to her name. Felicitating her on Army Day, Lt Gen Yogendra Dimri, AVSM, VSM, GOC-in-C, Central Command, complimented the young lady in being a role model to all aspiring girls. She was presented with Mountaineering equipment, clothing, and incentive in recognition of her feat.
