TMU Offers Joint Degree with French University

 

New wings to the TMU’s dream of world class education: The structure of regular courses of MSc- AI Engineering and MSc- Data Engineering is one plus one model. It means that students will study at TMU campus for the first year, while in the final year they will study at Aivancity School for Technology, Business & Society, France.

The dream of world class education of Teerthankar Mahaveer University, Moradabad will get new wings. Under the international collaboration with Aivancity School for Technology, Business and Society, France, TMU students will now get joint degrees from TMU and French private university. The structure of these regular courses of MSc-AI Engineering and MSc-Data Engineering is one plus one. Students will study for the first year at the TMU campus, while the final year will be at Aivancity School for Technology, Business and Society, France. Under this international collaboration, studies in these programs will start from the session 2024-25. TMU Chancellor Mr. Suresh Jain and GVC Mr. Manish Jain say, TMU has become the first university of UP to start International Collaborative Program.

For these programs, private universities like TMU have signed contracts with private universities like France’s Aivancity School for Technology, Business and Society. These new programs will give international recognition to TMU’s CCSIT. Executive Director Mr. Akshat Jain says students will be eligible for a two-year work permit visa.

These programs will open doors to various global career opportunities for TMU students. UG students in Computer Science-CS, Computer Applications-CA, Information Technology- IT will be eligible for the two-year MSc-AI Engineering and MSc-Data Engineering programmes, while students of MCA, MTech-CS, IT will also be eligible for admission.

TMU’s Vice Chancellor Prof. VK Jain says, these programs will prove to be a milestone in the development journey of the university. Principal of CCSIT Prof. RK Dwivedi says, TMU students and faculty will also be able to benefit under the Students-Faculty Exchange Program.

These programs provide for an internship/apprenticeship in France in the second year with a commitment to provide innovative and relevant education to the students. TMU has already signed an MoU with Aivancity School for Technology, Business and Society, France. In the MoU, consensus has been reached on seven points- Joint Research Project, Exchange of Academic Information Material and Facilities, Students Exchange, Faculty Exchange, Organizing Participation in Joint Symposium, Developing Articulator for Tuning Joint Programs and Promoting True Other Activities etc.

Artificial Intelligence Engineering and Data Engineering are new technologies for the global market. It is believed that after these PG degrees, students’ 40 years of golden career will be secured.

Mr. Amod Bhatt, Senior Manager ASIA, says, Aivancity is dedicated to the study of AI/ML and Data Management. The university is fully funded and approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Education of the Government of France.
