FORMER TELANGANA C M K. C.R RAO SUFFERED A HIP FRACTURE AT HIS FARMHOUSE
HYDRABAD, 8 DECEMBER. Former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao suffered a hip fracture at his farmhouse in Erravelli, in the periphery of Hyderabad, late on Thursday night and was admitted to Yashoda Hospitals in the city early on Friday.
Former Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao suffered a hairline fracture in the hip after slipping and falling at his farmhouse in Siddipet district’s Erravalli village on Thursday night. His daughter MLC K Kavitha said that he suffered a minor hip bone injury and was under expert care.
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders close to KCR’s family said that the 69-year-old KCR was rushed to a private hospital in Secunderabad early on Friday.
He had a fall and suffered a hairline fracture on hip last night. His health is otherwise fine. X-rays and tests are being conducted and doctors will take a call today evening if he requires surgery.
KCR had moved to his farmhouse over the weekend after his party lost to the Congress in the November 30 Assembly elections. He submitted his resignation to Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan and vacated the residence and office where he had been staying for the past nine years. The last few days, KCR had been meeting party leaders at the farmhouse.
The former CM has been staying at his Farmhouse in Erravalli since his government was defeated in the recently concluded Telangana Assembly Elections 2023. He vacated the Pragati Bhavan (now renamed Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan) on the day of results and has been meeting MLAs and other party leaders at his farmhouse.
