NASA’s JAXA HTV-X2 and SpaceX Crew-13 To Be Launched in September

No Earlier Than September 2026

JAXA’s (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) HTV-X uncrewed expendable cargo spacecraft will launch from Tanegashima Space Center, Japan, to deliver supplies and science to the International Space Station.

As part of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-13 mission, NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney; CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Joshua Kutryk; and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov will launch to the International Space Station for a long-duration science expedition.

NASA’s Commercial Crew Program is delivering on its goal of safe, reliable, and cost-effective human transportation to and from the International Space Station from the United States through a partnership with American private industry.
