देश में 27 ग्रीन एक्सप्रेस हाईवे बनेंगे जिनसे यात्रा के समय और ईंधन कीभारी बचत होगी

केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने कहा  कि  हम 16 लाख करोड़ जीवाश्म ईंधन का आयात कर रहे हैं जो बहुत अधिक प्रदूषण पैदा कर रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि यात्रा के समय को कम करने के लिए 27 ग्रीन एक्सप्रेस हाईवे बनाने का निर्णय लिया गया है और दिसंबर के अंत तक नए हाईवे तैयार हो जायेंगे।  जिनमें दिल्ली से चंडीगढ़ की यात्रा का समय 2 1/2 घंटे, दिल्ली से अमृतसर 4 घंटे, दिल्ली से 2 घंटे होगा। कटरा 6 घंटे, दिल्ली से श्रीनगर 8 घंटे और दिल्ली से मुंबई 12 घंटे, दिल्ली से जयपुर दो घंटे और चेन्नई से बैंगलोर भी दो घंटे। मंत्री ने कहा कि भारत को 5 ट्रिलियन डॉलर की अर्थव्यवस्था बनाने के प्रधान मंत्री के दृष्टिकोण को प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रौद्योगिकी, नवाचार और अनुसंधान बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हैं।

New Delhi 21 September. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari has emphasized on reduction of logistics costs from 14 – 16% to 10% with cooperation, coordination, and communication among stakeholders. Addressing the program ‘Climate Goals: Technological Roadmap to Net Zero’ he said by reducing logistics costs there will be a great saving and which  50%  increase in exports can be achieved which is very important for our economy.

Talking about pollution he said we are importing 16 lakh crore of fossil fuel which is creating a lot of pollution. He said the decision has been taken to make 27 green express highways to reduce travel time and by end of December there will be new highways wherein travel time from Delhi to Chandigarh will be 2 1/2 hours, Delhi to Amritsar  4 hours, Delhi to Katra 6 hours, Delhi to Srinagar 8 hours and Delhi to Mumbai 12 hours, Delhi to Jaipur two hours and Chennai to Bangalore also two hours. The Minister said Technology, innovation, and research are very important for achieving the vision of the Prime Minister for making India a 5 trillion dollar economy.

Addressing AIMA’s 49th National Management Convention – ‘Advantage India: Thriving in the New World Order’ Shri Nitin Gadkari said public transport needs to be encouraged with centre and states working together as a team. He said India has a huge domestic market with young and talented engineering manpower, skilled workforce and low labour cost. He stressed on diversification of agriculture into energy and power sector and use of alternative fuels like bio ethanol, LNG and bio CNG. The Minister said ethics, economy , ecology and environment are the three most important pillars of the society.
